National Field Day is an excellent club event, with varied areas of activity and experience required, such as antenna design, construction and erection, generator maintenance and computer control. The event provides a good training ground for those interested in getting there feet wet in the World of Contests, while they learn from operators who are familiar with the event. |

Field Day gives every member of a Club the chance to try Contest working, both on the Key and with the Mic, helped by a Club member who has done it before, it is a ideal way to get your feet wet in Contest working, and sharpens your skill to capture that rare DX in a pile up. |
